A Month of Music, Memories, and Celebration
June at Brookhaven was filled with appreciation, celebration, and engaging activities that brought residents and staff together. From recognizing CNAs to celebrating Juneteenth and Father’s Day, the month was full of meaningful moments and community spirit.
ACTIVITIES & EVENTS
CNA Week Celebration
Brookhaven proudly celebrated CNA Week by recognizing the dedication and compassion of its Certified Nursing Assistants. The week included thoughtful gifts, a special luncheon, and Paramount appreciation gifts as a heartfelt thank you for everything they do each day.
Juneteenth Celebration
Residents and staff came together for a festive Juneteenth cookout featuring great food, music by DJ Daisha, and plenty of fun. A special thank you to the Dietary and Activities teams for helping make the celebration such a success.
Father’s Day Luncheon
Brookhaven honored its fathers with a delicious luncheon featuring barbecue chicken, seasoned rice, string beans, chocolate cake, and thoughtful gifts including baseball caps and men’s body spray. It was a wonderful day celebrating the fathers in the community.
Game Day & Creative Fun
Residents enjoyed an exciting game day with Big Bingo featuring cash prizes, along with Connect 4, Jenga, checkers, chess, and Pitty Pat. They also got creative by making Michael Jackson-inspired gloves in preparation for a themed movie event.
