12.6.22 Letter To Families And Friends

To all Staff, Residents, Families, and Friends,

 

We would like to update you on the status of the facility with regard to COVID-19. We received confirmation of one staff member who has tested positive in the last 24 hours. The positive staff member has been sent home to quarantine, and any staff exposed to the staff member are being tested. There was no resident exposure. The positive resident is on isolation and the residents and staff on that wing are being tested. Any residents who have been exposed to the positive case have been isolated and are being tested. The total number of positive residents is 1, and positive staff members is 1.

 

Due to the increase in COVID in the community, we are requesting that visitors who are unvaccinated be tested prior to visiting. Please inquire at the front desk when you arrive. If you have any signs and symptoms of COVID or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive, please do not visit for 14 days following exposure or 10 days following a positive test.

 

We have standard precautions in place to protect our residents and staff from COVID-19 including screening employees before they begin their shift each day, and universal masking of employees and residents when they are outside their rooms. We are continuing to remain vigilant in keeping your loved ones safe, healthy, and happy.
